Jack Richards, Jr.

   Jack Richards, Jr. 72, of 186 Skinner Road, Hertford, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2023 in his home.

   Mr. Richards was born in Orlando, FL on November 16, 1950, and was the son of the late Jack, Sr. and Alberteen Long Richards. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Betty Jo Maslow, JoAnn Bollinger, and Connie Marie Latimer.

   A retired Sergeant from the US Marine Corps following 15 years of service, he was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Memberships enjoyed included the William Paul Stallings Post #126 of the American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, Loyal Order of Moose, and the Elks Lodge.

   Surviving is his wife of 39 years, Patricia Ann Lutzio “Patti” Richards; two daughters, Tina Frazier (Timothy) and Brenda Parker; a son, Jack Richards, III; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

   In accordance with his wishes, no services are planned.
