Helen Kay Busey Siford

   Helen Kay Busey Siford, 81, of Belvidere, NC, passed away Sunday evening, November 12, 2023 in her home.

   Mrs. Siford was born in Oklahoma City, OK on September 21, 1942, and was the daughter of the late Hugh and Ruth Busey. In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Siford, and by brothers, Richard and Robert Busey.

   A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, she treasured her family and every moment spent with each of them. She will be remembered for her love and dedication, and for never missing a ball game, choral concert, horse show or race.

   Left to mourn her passing is her daughter, Pamela Elliott; a son, Kevin Siford (Gwen); her two grandchildren, Harli Elliott (Austin) and Zac Elliott (Rachel); and her great-granddaughter, Sadie Overton. Also left to mourn are her nieces, nephews, and her “adopted by heart children” of New York and Florida, as well as her wonderful hospice nurse, Regina Carrington, who took amazing care of her during her declining health.

   The family would like to thank Heartland Hospice, who so graciously cared for her when she resided in Glen Allen, VA, and to Gentiva Hospice who took her under their care upon her move to North Carolina.

   A private service will be held by the family.
