Gwendolyn Joy Walsh

   Gwendolyn Joy Echols Walsh, 79, of 440 Snug Harbor Road, died Tuesday, May 7, 2024.

   Mrs. Walsh was born on December 27, 1944, in Dallas, Texas, and was the daughter of the late William Echols and Reba Hollis Brown Stewart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Tommy Spence; and by brothers, Billy and Bobby Echols.

   A retired coordinator for Senior Living Centers, she was a raised in the Church of Christ faith.

   Surviving are her children, Mary Cooper Paupst and husband, Gerry, of South Mills, NC; Chester Molandes and wife, Lora, of Kansas City, MO; Jason Molandes and wife, Marrissa, of Brownsville, TX, John Molandes and wife, Michelle, of Virginia Beach, VA; and Dusty Spence and wife, Jennifer, of Garland, TX; her brother, Gary Stewart and wife, Mary Lou, of Grand Prairie, TX; her caregiver and companion, Don Coleman of Hertford; and grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other extended family member and friends.

   In accordance with her wishes, no service is planned.
