Gracie Rae Blake

   Gracie Rae Blake, 17, of Hertford, NC, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2021 in her home where she was being cared for by family.

   Born in Pasquotank County on January 3, 2004, she was the daughter of July A. Blake of Hertford. A loving daughter, sister, and granddaughter, she attended and enjoyed fellowship in Bethlehem Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William E. Blake.

   Surviving in addition to her mother are her sister, Cheyanne Blake; her grandmother, Mary Blake; an uncle, Garvin Blake, Jr., all of Hertford; an aunt, Cindy Blake White of Virginia Beach, VA; and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

   A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 16, at 2:00 p.m. in Bethlehem Church of Christ, and will be conducted by Minister Chris Shoaff.  Friends may visit with the family in the church fellowship hall immediately following the service.
