Gordon Edward Beach

   Gordon Edward Beach, 63, of South Mills, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2023 in Hertford Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

   Mr. Beach was born in Succasunna, NJ on March 31, 1960, and was the son of the late Gordon Floyd and Joanne Carrullo Beach. A retired Machinist Mate from the US Navy following 21 years of service, following his military career he worked as an Industrial Hygiene Technician with the Department of Defense where he had been employed for the past 13 years. A Catholic by faith, he was an avid woodworker, enjoyed gardening and working with animals, and dearly loved his family and spending time with his kids.

   Surviving is his wife of 39 years, Karen Valliere Beach; a daughter, Kailee Beach; a son, James Beach, both of South Mills; a sister, Tamara Beach Coppola (Tony) of Troy, MI; two brothers, Chris Beach (Phyllis) of Lake Placid, FL and Joseph Beach (Jennifer) of Roxbury, NJ; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.

   A celebration of life service with military honors will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Chapel, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford. Friends may visit with the family the hour prior to the service on Saturday.
