Gloria Davis Wilson

   Gloria Jean Davis Wilson, 80, of Edenton, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2022 in Edenton Primetime Assisted Living.

   Mrs. Wilson was born in Prince George County, VA on December 18, 1941, and was the daughter of the late James L. and Gladys May Edwards Davis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her son, James E. “Eddie” Wilson, Jr. (wife, Dollie, deceased), a sister, Gwen McKim, and by a brother, James Davis, Jr.

A homemaker, she was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Among her many enjoyments included her love of crocheting and working on puzzles.

   Surviving is her husband of 63 years, James Edward Wilson, Sr.; a daughter, Deborah Boothe (husband, Dennis) of Edenton; a sister, Lona Billings of Virginia Beach, VA; five grandchildren, Timothy Boothe (wife, Brandi), Ashley Wilson (fiancé, Steve Bergloff), James Klein (wife, Megan), Dye-Anne Klein, and Amanda Klein; and seven great-grandchildren, Alyssa Hohbach, Harlen Hohbach, Oliver James Boothe, Levi Boothe, Kasen Lee Hathaway, Rain Klein, and James Klein, Jr.

   A gathering for friends to visit with the family will be held Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton.
