Gladys Martine Owens

   Gladys Sunghee Martine Owens, 47, of Hobbsville, NC, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 in Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, Virginia Beach, VA.

   Mrs. Owens was born on October 11, 1973 in Delaware, and was the daughter of Robert and Nancy Martine of Hobbsville.  Employed as District Secretary and Education Coordinator with USDA Soil and Water Conservation in Gates County, she also enjoyed serving as an instructor with Envirothon in Gates County Schools.

   Surviving along with her parents are her husband of 23 years, Kermit Owens; her son, Kenneth Owens; her daughter, Ahna Owens, all of Hobbsville; and her brother, Bobby Martine of Hatteras.

   A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 14, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton.
