Frankie D White

 Frankie D White, of the Snug Harbor community of Perquimans County, NC, and the wife of Vernon White of 40 years, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Friday, January 10, 2025, at the age of 66.

 Born in Greenville, MS on December 12, 1958, she was the daughter of Jacquline Howard Alexander and the late Frank D. Alexander, Sr.

 Frankie was a loving and creative mother and grandmother who enjoyed painting, crafting, thrifting, spending time with family, friends, and spoiling her grandchildren and pups. She was strong and independent and that was passed down to her children.

 In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ben Alexander, and a daughter, Sharlotte Baxter.

 Surviving along with her mother is her husband, Vernon White; a brother, Franklin Alexander; three daughters, Heather Allen (Scott), Amanda Griswold (Daniel), and Lindsey McGill (Ryan); a stepson, Dagan Nelson; and five grandchildren, Cyle O’Neal, Brianna and Chloe Jackson, and Ransom and Harper Griswold.

 A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Church, 617 Soundside Rd, Edenton, NC 27932. Friends are invited to join the family for a reception following the service.
