Erica Lena Richards

   Erica Lena Richards, 22, of 130 Desert Road, Corapeake, NC, died Thursday, April 14, 2022 in her home.

   Erica was born in Suffolk, VA on June 20, 1999, and was the daughter of Diane Spencer Weatherford of Belhaven and Daryn Eric Richards of Corapeake. She loved spending time with her family and friends, and had a deep love for animals, especially her faithful canine companion, “Stinky”.

   In addition to her parents, she is survived by a sister, Tiffany Anne Spencer of Belhaven; a brother, T.J. Weatherford of Roper; her grandmother, Rachel Richards of Suffolk; and a nephew, Jeremiah Aiden Elijah Spencer.

   A private gathering for family and close friends is planned.
