Edna Lassiter Harrell

   Edna Lassiter Harrell, 91, of Edenton, NC, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, in ECU Health Chowan Hospital.

   Mrs. Harrell was born in Chowan County on April 4, 1933, and was the daughter of the late William Jackson Lassiter and Dora Smith Lassiter. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Edenton. Edna worked for many years at Jackson’s Radio & TV Service in Edenton.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Haywood Harrell; three sisters, Faye Twiddy, Daphney Lassiter, and Madge Whitehurst; and by her brother, Gerald Lassiter.

   Surviving are her brother-in-law, Aubrey Twiddy; and six nieces and nephews, Bevely Hoggard and husband, Danny, Greg Whitehurst and wife, Debbie, Janet White and husband, Ricky, Mike Twiddy and wife, Corrine, Cathy Kennedy, and Jerry Lassiter and wife, Vickie.

   Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. in Beaver Hill Cemetery and will be conducted by the Rev. Don Morris.
