Melvin Edward “Eddie” Fuller, 71, of 130 Walker Street, Edenton, NC, died Sunday, January 1, 2023 in Accordius Health at Creekside Care in Ahoskie.
Mr. Fuller was born in Chowan County on November 9, 1951, and was the son of the late Lewis Herman and Lessie Louise Lassiter Fuller. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Fuller.
A retired truck driver, he was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, and in earlier years loved playing softball and coaching T-Ball and Little League baseball.
Surviving are two daughters, Reneé Willard of Goldsboro and Melissa Mingin (husband, Chris) of Edenton; a son, Blake Fuller (wife, Leslie) of Edenton; a sister, Peggy Daniels of Ahoskie; a brother, Mike Fuller (wife, Tina) of Edenton; and seven grandchildren, Katelyne Stacey (James), Kassidy Clark (Nolan), Haley Nash, Holden and Sydney Fuller, and Isabella and Wyatt Mingin.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Hoggard Family Cemetery, 1020 Bull Hill Road, Windsor, and will be conducted by the Rev. John Keeter. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church, 901 W. Queen Street, Edenton, NC 27932.
