Louise Fall

   Dorothy Louise Fall, 88, of 5400 Kings Park Drive, died Saturday, August 24, 2019, in the Capital Caring Adler Center in Aldie, VA.

   Mrs. Fall was born in Chowan County on April 12, 1931, was the daughter of the late Johnnie Edward and Minnie Edna Bunch Bass, and was raised in the fellowship of Macedonia Baptist Church. For many years she worked in children’s day care, first as an aid, and later as a teacher.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony James “Jack” Fall; an infant brother, James Richard Bass; a sister, Joyce B. Lawrence; and a brother-in-law, Mayo Lawrence.

   Surviving are three daughters, Nancy Diane Lowry of Blacksburg, VA, Jean Ellen Magathan and husband, Michael, of Fairfax, VA, and Susan Marie Fall of Springfield, VA; a sister, Vivian “Tink” Monis and husband, Tony, of Fowler, CA; two grandchildren, Shawn Lowry and Megan Louise Lowry; and a great-grandson, Cash Underwood.

   A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the Waff Family Cemetery, and will be conducted by the Rev. Chris Gravning. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
