Dorothy Post Edwards

   Dorothy Iglehart Post Edwards, 97, formerly of Virginia Beach, VA, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018.

   Born and raised in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Rockwell and Rosalie Harper Post. A graduate of Maury High School, she was a member of Central Baptist Church in Norfolk.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Edwards, Jr., her sister, Doris Rockwell Post, and by a son-in-law, Jimmy Brinn.

   Surviving are her children, Diane Edwards Brinn, John R. Edwards, III (Joann), Glenn Michael Edwards (Lynne), and Doris Edwards; nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.

   A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, November 13, at 1:30 p.m. in Francis Asbury United Methodist Church, 1871 N. Great Neck Road, Virginia Beach.
