Davin Blake Cabral

   Davin Blake Cabral, 21, of 164 Drum Hill Road, Corapeake, NC, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2023.

   Born in Suffolk, VA on April 24, 2001, he was the son of Shawn Rego and Lisa McDonald Cabral of Corapeake. Employed in the family business, Shawn R. Cabral Construction, LLC, among his many enjoyments in life included his love of playing video games on his Play Station 5 and watching football.

   Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister, Taylor Cabral of Corapeake; maternal grandparents, Hersey McDonald of South Mills and Mary DeLaney McDonald of Elizabeth City; paternal grandparents, Edwin and Barbara Jordan Cabral of Corapeake; an aunt, Vicky McDonald of South Mills; an uncle, Justin Cabral and wife, Chessie; a cousin, Tyler Cabral, all of Corapeake; and other extended family members and friends.

   Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. in Parker's United Methodist Church, 59 Parker's Church Road, Corapeake, and will be conducted by family friend, The Rev. Robert Jordan. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit with the family Sunday from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, and other times at the residence.
