Danny Ray White

   Danny Ray White, 55, of Elizabeth City, NC, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021.

   Born in Pasquotank County on June 3, 1965, he was the son of Linwood Clay "Tony" White and Gloria Virginia Bundy White. Employed at Northeastern Ready Mix in his early years, later in life he worked as a carpenter and roofer with his brother, Henry White, and cousin, Mike White. Spending time with family and fishing at his uncle's lot down in Weeksville were among his greatest enjoyments in life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepfather, Henry Ferrell White.

   Surviving are his wife, Audra White; two sons, Buddy and Austin White; a stepson, Haywood Ward, III; a grandson, Haywood Ward, IV; two sisters, Angie Harden and Annette Berryman; six brothers, Milton and Ricky Phthisic, and Linwood, Eric, Henry, and Joe White; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

   A memorial service will be held at a later date.

   The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to Danny's caregiver, Angel Ashley, for all the care and support given to him during his time of need.
