David Scott Schwarm, Sr.

 David Scott Schwarm, Sr., 59, of Edenton, NC, died Wednesday, February 19, 2025, in his home.

 Mr. Schwarm was born in Pasquotank County on May 18, 1965, and was the son of Carolyn Hudson Schwarm of Edenton and the late Arthur Henry Schwarm. Retired as a heavy equipment mechanic and operator with Harsco Metals & Minerals, among his many enjoyments in life included his love of dirt track racing.

 Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife of 23 years, Shawn Marie Schwarm; two sons, David Scott Schwarm, Jr. and Arthur Jeremy Schwarm, both of Edenton; three daughters, Lucretia Jones of South Carolina, Wendy Jones of Florida, and Jeannie Jones (Juan Guzman) of Edenton; two brothers, Jeffrey Schwarm of Harrellsville and Robert Schwarm of Edenton; a sister, Susan Spence of Edenton; 15 grandchildren, Trey, Domonic, Mark, Malachi, Josiah, Channing, Juan Jr., Angel, Julianna, Darien, Aiden, Logan, Rayna, Emmi, and Tyson; a great-grandchildren due to be born in September; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

 Private services are being planned by the family.
