David Bunch

 James David "Crunch" Bunch, 61, of Riverby Farm Road, Edenton, NC, died Saturday, September 7, 2024, in Edenton.

 David was born in Chowan County on November 21, 1962, and was the son of the late Clarence Edward and Inez Virginia Hughson Bunch.

 Employed through the years with area businesses, Leary Brothers Storage, Valhalla Produce Corp., and C.A Perry & Son, he had worked in agriculture his entire life. He was raised in the fellowship of Rocky Hock Baptist Church.

 Surviving is a daughter, Brandi Bunch of Edenton; three sisters, Sue Riddick (husband, Jimmy) and Joyce Briggs (husband, Douglas), both of Sunbury, and Virginia Jones (husband, Larry) of Edenton; a brother, Eddie Bunch (wife, Ervina) of Edenton; a granddaughter, Adaleina; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

 A graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. in Beaver Hill Cemetery and will be conducted by Pastor Walter Byrum. Friends may visit with the family at Larry and Virginia’s home, 110 Cotton Patch Lane.
