Darlene Hiatt Geary

   Darlene Lynette Hiatt Geary, 66, of 123 Redwood Street, Hertford, NC, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 in ECU Health Chowan Hospital, Edenton.

   Mrs. Geary was born in Rowan County on July 25, 1957, and was the daughter of the late Frank Dewitt and Shirley Leona Williams Hiatt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Joseph Geary, and by two sisters, Joyce Mitchell and Kimberly Divers.

   Surviving are her two sons, Michael Thomas Geary (wife, Emily) and Joseph Thomas O’Geary (wife, Jackie); two sisters, Deann Hiatt and Paula Monday; a brother, Frank “Timmy” Hiatt; and several grandchildren.

   A private service will be held by the family.
