Daniel James White

   Daniel James “Dan” White, 66, of Edenton, NC, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 in the Service League of Greenville Inpatient Hospice.

   Mr. White was born Cuyahoga County, OH on April 22, 1954, and was the son of the late Robert Nicholas and Eileen Bernice Celaschi White. A retired aviation mechanic from the US Coast Guard Base in Elizabeth City, he also loved working at the Northeastern Regional Airport in Edenton where he owned and operated Carolina Aviation.

   Surviving are his daughter, Christina McCoy (husband, Daniel) of Liberty, SC; four sisters, Patty Bechtold (husband, Ralph) of Elyria, OH, Susan Robinson (husband, Brian), of Creston, OH, Karen Miller and Teresa Kappele, both of Myrtle Beach, SC; a brother, John White (wife, Zulma) of North Eaton, OH; two grandchildren, Daniel and Anastasia, an aunt and several nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.

   A gathering for family and friends to fellowship and celebrate his life will be held Saturday, March 6 from 1:00 p.m. until later in the afternoon at the dockside by his boat "Moriah" located at Edenton Marina, 621 W. Queen Street, Edenton.
