Connie Jean Overton

 Connie Jean Overton, 74, of Edenton, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior in Paradise on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation.

 Born in Chowan County on September 23, 1950, Connie was the daughter of the late Lloyd Edward and Mary Pascoe White Overton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Overton.

 Employed in drafting and design, through the years she had been employed in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Colorado, California, Hawaii, and Texas. A member of Methodist Christ Church in Sugar Land, TX, she had been active in the Carol Vance Alpha Prison Ministry Team for many years. During her time there she met some of her dearest friends: Betty, Holy, Beth and Sandy. She was also a member of Home Group with the Methodist Christ Church, where she also gained friends: Jo Ann, Annette, Michelle, as well as her neighbor Christy.

 Surviving is her sister, Debbie Milligin of Albuquerque, NM; her brother, Craig Overton (wife Judy) of Edenton; and other extended family members.

 A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
