Colin Peter Caron

   Colin Peter Caron, 76, of Edenton, NC, died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 5, 2022.

   Mr. Caron was born in Providence, RI on June 14, 1945 and was the son of the late Arthur Emile and Mary Catherine Caron (nee Carron). He worked for Amica Mutual Insurance Company for 22 years and retired as National Managing Appraiser. An active member of St. Anne Catholic Church, he was a member of the Knights of Columbus (Past Grand Knight).

   In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Caron, and brother-in-law, Paul Knight.

   Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Mary Katherine Caron; a daughter, Sarah Manshack, and husband Thomas, of Cary; a sister, Arlene Knight of Freedom, NH; three grandchildren, Nicolaus, Jude and Liam; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

   A funeral service will be held Friday, February 11th, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anne Catholic Church and will be conducted by Deacon Frank Jones. The burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. No formal visitation is planned; however, friends may visit with the family in the church Parish Hall immediately following the graveside rites.
