Christopher Eugene “Tank” Mansfield, 30, of 315 Manteo Trail, Edenton, NC, died Saturday, September 11, 2021 in Tyner.
Born on February 26, 1991 in Chowan County, he was a professional Tattoo Artist, and had attended Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are his parents, Lisa Shockley Bunch (husband, Jonathan) of Edenton, and Eugene Nixon Mansfield, Jr. (wife, Glenda) of Onion Lake, SK, Canada and Tulsa, OK; three children, Mary Ann Mansfield (age 7), Samuel Thomas Mansfield (age 11) and Jayden Christopher Mansfield (age 3); and two sisters, Tracy Lynn Merriam of Norfolk, VA and Diamond Jazz Mansfield of Onion Lake. Also surviving are his paternal grandmother, Joan A. Mansfield of Hertford (husband, Pete, deceased); maternal grandparents, Cliff and Effie Beaman of Edenton and Howard Shockley of Eden, MD; maternal great-grandmother, Anna Rebecca Elizabeth Gleaton of Blackwell, SC; aunts and uncles, Elsie and David Perry of Hertford, Howard Lee Shockley, III of Edenton, Nicki Mansfield (husband, Jay, deceased) of Aydlett; and cousins, Thomas Egan Mansfield and Petey Mansfield.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be conducted by the Rev. Mickey Willard.
