Christobel Phelps Pierce

   Christobel Phelps Pierce, 96, of 937 Old US Hwy 17 North, Windsor, NC, died Thursday, May 14, 2020 in Elizabeth City Health & Rehabilitation Center.

   Mrs. Pierce was born in Bertie County on February 24, 1924, and was the daughter of the late Charlie David and Hattie Bell Harden Phelps. A homemaker, she was a member of Windsor Assembly of God.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Lewis Pierce.

   Surviving is her son, Donnie Lewis Pierce of Windsor; a granddaughter, Kelly Johnson, husband Jeremy, and their children Gunner and Addison of Frisco; a grandson, Christopher Lewis Pierce, wife Mandy, and their children Braelynn and Harper of Windsor; and a brother, Jack Phelps and wife, Lucille, of Windsor.

   A memorial gathering will be held Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at the residence and will be conducted by Pastor Chuck Gray. The burial will be held at a later time in Edgewood Cemetery.

   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Windsor Assembly of God, 1505 S. King Street, Windsor, NC 27983.
