Charles Theodore Hickman

   Charles Theodore Hickman, 54, of 118 Pocahontas Trail, Edenton, NC, died Tuesday, January 24, 2023 in ECU Health Chowan Hospital.

   Mr. Hickman was born in Annapolis, MD and was the son of Frances Miller Rockemann of Edenton.

   Before health issues forced retirement, Mr. Hickman was an officer with the Bertie Correctional Facility in Windsor.

   In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Lisa Tripp Hickman; his son, Brandon James Hickman of Edenton; two step-sons, Timothy Andrew Raper of Edenton and John David Raper, Jr. of Fayetteville; a sister, Barbara Roberts Webster of Wyoming; two brothers, Jon Roberts of Wilmington, NC and Tim Hickman of Edenton; and five step-grandchildren.

   A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 28^th, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be conducted by Pastor Bernie Hurdle. Friends are invited to visit with the family in the funeral home immediately following the service.
