Cecil Daniel McPherson

   Cecil Daniel McPherson, 58, of W. Queen Street Ext., Edenton, NC, died Saturday, October 17, 2020 in Vidant Chowan Hospital.

   Mr. McPherson was born in Chesapeake, VA on October 7, 1962, and was the son of the late Aubrey Earl, Sr. and Clara Lina Mae Overton McPherson.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brothers, Ronald Wayne McPherson and infant brother, Edward Ray Ferguson.

   Surviving are his sister, Margaret Smith of Portsmouth, VA; three brothers, Glenn Ray Ferguson of Portsmouth, Aubrey Earl McPherson, Jr. and wife, Rita, of Edenton, and James Lee McPherson and wife, Freda, of Tyner; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

   A Graveside funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the Rutter-Powers Cemetery (Northwest Cemetery), Ballahack Road, Chesapeake, VA, and will be conducted by Pastor David Crumpler.
