Catherine Reynolds Koltuniak

   Catherine Deloise Reynolds "Jinks" Koltuniak, 80, of Elizabeth City, NC, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022 in her son's home in Elizabeth City.

   Mrs. Koltuniak was born in New Hanover County on June 24, 1941, and was the daughter of the late Kellum Obrey Reynolds, Sr. and Catherine Elizabeth Malpass Reynolds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Koltuniak, Sr., and by brothers, Mack, Ernie, and Robert Earl Reynolds. A homemaker, she was a Baptist by faith.

   Surviving is her daughter, Verda Tesso (husband, Tony) of Elizabeth City; two sons, John J. "Joey" Koltuniak, Jr. (wife, Doreen) of Elizabeth City and Aubrey Koltuniak (wife, Lori) of Hertford; a brother, Kellum Reynolds, Jr. (wife, Carol) of Bolivia, NC; a sister-in-law, Arlene Reynolds of Waynesville, NC; four granddaughters, Tamra (husband, Brandon), Christine, Andrea, and Danielle; and four great-grandchildren, Katlyn, Jerrick, Haylee, and Alyssa.

   Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the mausoleum chapel at West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Elizabeth City, and will be conducted by the Rev. Brian Raleigh. Friends may visit with the family in the mausoleum chapel immediately following the services.
