Carolyn Outlaw Vann

   Carolyn Outlaw Vann, 74, of 350-1 Drum Hill Road, Corapeake, NC, died Wednesday, November 30, 2022 in her home.

   Mrs. Vann was born in Chowan County on January 9, 1948, and was the only child born to the late Earl Delbert and Elizabeth Jethro Outlaw. She and her late husband, Bobby Ray Vann, formerly owned and operated B & C Meat Market in the Whaleyville, VA community. She was a member of New Middle Swamp Baptist Church.

   Surviving are her children, Connie Lynne Vann Arrowood and Bobbie Jean “B.J.” Vann, both of Corapeake and Charles Ray Vann (wife, Amber) of Suffolk, VA; eight grandchildren, Kristen, Dallas, Justin, Erika Mercedes, Jeffrey, Savannah, Sarena and Caleb; six great-grandchildren, Hunter, Liam, Hudson, Lexi, Alexandria and Andres; and her very close friend, Kim Hinkens.

   A gathering for family and friends to share memories and celebrate her life will be held Sunday,
December 4^th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at her home
