Carol Faye Pennington Gellatly, 69, of 543 Merrimac Road, Edenton, NC, died Thursday, September 20, 2018 in Vidant Medical Center, Greenville.
Mrs. Gellatly was born in Fayette County, WV and was the daughter of the late George Gether Stephenson and Cora Belle Pennington Campbell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Newhouse.
Surviving are her husband of 20 years, Ronald Gellatly; a daughter, Cora Newhouse of Front Royal, VA; two sisters, Shirley Persinger of Edenton and Edith Johnson of Ansted, WV; a brother, Sonny Campbell of Charleston, WV; and two granddaughters, Megan and Ashley.
A private service will be held. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
