Brigitte Lee Allen Layne

   Brigitte Lee Allen Layne, 62, of Belvidere, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2022 in her home where she was being cared for by family.

   Mrs. Layne was born in Washington, Tennessee on March 22, 1960, and was the daughter of the late William Edward Allen and Carolyn Mae Murray Allen.

   A loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend, surviving are her husband of nearly 37 years, William Earl Layne; her son, Preston William Edward Layne of Belvidere; a sister, Tammy Wright of Hampton, VA; two brothers, William Keith Allen and Mark Andrew Allen, both of Newport News, VA; five nieces and nephews, Heaven Leigh Allen, Austin Wright, Ashley Dawn Allen, Mark Andrew Allen, and Anna Lee Wright; and numerous extended family members and friends.

   A private funeral service will be held.
