Brad Allen Kime

   Brad Allen Kime, 64, of 1068 Belvidere Road, Belvidere, NC, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 in his home surrounded by family.

   Mr. Kime was born in Coos Bay, OR on July 14, 1959, and was the son of the late William Jacob “Bill” Kime and Gail Oar Kime. A proud veteran, he retired as a Chief Intelligence Specialist from the US Navy following 22 years in active duty and 39 years of total service to the country. Among his community involvement, he had been active coaching football, soccer, and the Perquimans County Hunter Safety program.

   Surviving is his wife of 42 and a half years, Sherry Webb Kime; a daughter, Shiloh Leigh Kime of Broomfield, CO; three sons, Brandt Allen Kime of Rocky Mount, Bryce William Kime of Arvada, CO, and Blayne Paul Kime (wife, Victoria) of Hertford; a sister, Balinda Reiten of Columbia Falls, MT; a brother, Brian Kime of Prineville, OR; three grandchildren, Allen, Braxton, and Bella Kime; and extended family members and friends.

   A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Whiteville Grove Baptist Church, 373 Perry’s Bridge Road, Belvidere.
