   Stanley Barnett “Bart” Perry, 60, of 380 Catherine Creek Road, Hobbsville, NC, died Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

   Bart was born on October 3, 1960 in Chowan County, and was the son of Tilson Erie and Barbara Ann Spivey Perry. The owner and operator of Perry’s Tree Service, he was a proud member of the NRA, the Pro Logger Association, and the Nixon’s Ditch Fishing Club. He was raised in the fellowship of Hunter’s Fork Pentecostal Holiness Church.

   Preceded in death by his brother, Mike Perry, he is survived by his parents, T.E. and Barbara; his sister, Tanya Majeski (husband, Ski); his wife of 26 years, Michelle “Missy” Bateman Perry; seven children, Christopher Bateman (wife, Kerri), Timothy Bateman (wife, SaBrina), Tara Roberts (husband, Joe Paul), Tiffany Lilly (husband, C.J.), Christen Manes (husband, James), Tricia Riddick, and Bobbie Jean Perry (husband, Dustin McPherson); 15 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and another grandchild coming soon!

   A funeral service will be held Friday, January 29, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton. Burial will follow in the Copeland Family Cemetery.

   Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, no formal visitation will be held, however friends may visit the family at the residence.

   Memorial contributions may be made to Warwick Baptist Church, in care of Cindy Harrell, 433 Gliden Road, Hobbsville, NC 27946.
