Barbara Mullen Yoder

 Barbara Ann Mullen Yoder, 70, of Winton, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.

 Mrs. Yoder was born in Hertford County on March 25, 1954, and was the daughter of the late William and Catherine Matthews Mullen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Harvey Yoder and by a brother, William Roy Mullen. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

 Surviving is her daughter, Angela Armstrong of Shelbyville, TN; her son, Thomas Lee “Tommy” Hawk of Winton; and four grandchildren, Kaydyn and Brody Armstrong, and Kayla and Austin Hawk.

 Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 27, at 11:00 a.m. in Holly Springs Baptist Church, and will be conducted by her pastor, The Rev. Paul Ange. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family in the social hall of the church immediately following the service.
