Barbara Ann Wood Faison

Barbara Ann Wood Faison, 66, of Hertford, NC, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, in her home where she was being cared for by family.

 Born in Portsmouth, VA on May 5, 1958, Barbara was the daughter of the late Rodney Hilburn Wood and Verna Lee Williams Wood. Employed in the asphalt and construction industry for many years, she dedicated herself to her family and friends.

 Surviving is her daughter, Cheryl Faison (Dwayne); three sisters, Sandra Phillips (Joey), Brenda Naranjo, and Rhonda Powell; two brothers, Rodney Wood and David Wood; three grandchildren, Ashle Bass (Matthew), Jacob Faison, and Jeremiah Faison (Lexi); five great-grandchildren, Braxton, Alayna, and Dawson Bass, and Kaiden and Ava Faison; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

 A memorial service will be held at a later date.
