Annette Gibbs Bundy

   Annette Hooper Gibbs Bundy, 80, formerly of Adams Swamp Road, Corapeake, NC, and more recently of The Scotland House Assisted Living in Scotland Neck, died there on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024.

   Mrs. Bundy was born in Currituck County on June 26, 1943, and was one of nine children born to the late Samuel and Evelyn Gibbs of Barco. In addition to her parents and siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Lee “T.L.” Bundy, Jr.

   A homemaker, she had also served as a volunteer at the Sentara Nursing Center in Barco and had faithfully attended Lighthouse Tabernacle as long as her health allowed.

   Surviving is a sister, Charlotte Faye Jackson of Broken Arrow, OK, a brother, Leland Gibbs of Barco; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

   A graveside service will be held Friday, April 5th, at 2:00 p.m. in Parker’s United Methodist Church Cemetery, 59 Parker’s Church Road, Corapeake. Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Home, Gatesville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
