Anna Guckin Story

   Anna Marie Guckin Story, 86, of Hertford, NC, died Monday, March 25, 2024 in Waterbrooke of Elizabeth City.

   Mrs. Story was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 9, 1937, and was the daughter of the late Robert and Ann Ehmann Guckin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Lee Story.

   Surviving are her three sons, Timothy Story of Hertford, Stephen Story of Highland Park, UT, and Scott Roche of Orlando, FL; a daughter, Carolann Lanza of Philadelphia; five sisters; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

   A private service will be held in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk, VA
