Ann Jane Meads

   Ann Jane Meads, 69, formerly of Meadstown Road, Elizabeth City, NC, died Tuesday, September 10, 2019, in Heritage Care of Elizabeth City.

   Born in Pasquotank County on November 2, 1949, she was the daughter of the late John Luton and Lillian Markham Meads. A retired insurance agent, she had been employed for many years with Blue Cross and Blue Shield.

   Surviving are her sister, Betty Harrington of Virginia Beach, VA; two brothers, James and Leroy Meads, both of Hertford; and several nieces and nephews.

   At her request, no services will be held. Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, is assisting the family with arrangements.
