Angelia Johnson Silverthorne

   Angelia Joyce Johnson Silverthorne, 64, of 126 Pueblo Trail, Edenton, NC, died Saturday, November 19, 2022 in ECU Health Medical Center, Greenville.

   Mrs. Silverthorne was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on August 26, 1958, and was the daughter of the late James Michael and Sylvia Barnes Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Todd Silverthorne; and by a sister, Brenda Holt.

   A secretary with Nixon’s Fishery for many years, she was a member of Bandon Chapel Church in the Arrowhead Beach community.

   Surviving is her husband, David Clyde Silverthorne, Jr.; a son, Michael Tyler Johnson of Edenton; a sister, Phyllis Johnson of Winchester, VA; a brother, Bobby Holt of Portsmouth, VA; and five grandchildren, August, Layla, and Allie Elizabeth Johnson, and David Todd and Nicholas Scott Silverthorne.

   Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home and will be conducted by her pastor, The Rev. John Bonk. The burial will follow in Beaver Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
