Michael Thomas Rascoe Sr.

Michael Thomas Rascoe Sr. 57 of Creek Trail died Tuesday March 6 2012 in Durham County NC. Mr. Rascoe was born in Petersburg VA and was the son of Edna L. Rascoe of Hertford and the late Billy G. Rascoe Sr. An electrician in the construction business he was a Baptist by faith. In addition to his mother he is survived by a son Michael Thomas Rascoe Jr. and grandsons Shawn and Noah of Lincreek MO; brothers Vernon Rascoe and Billy G. Rascoe Jr. both of Chesapeake VA Gary Rascoe of Norfolk VA and Jameshomer Rascoe of Hertford; sisters Jean Standridge of Toccoa GA and Rhonda Fleetwood of Hertford; nephews Jameshomer Jr. Billy Danny and Nick; nieces Autumn Cherylyn and Megan; and many extended family members and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12 noon in the Miller & Van Essendelft Funeral Chapel 1125 Harvey Point Road by the Rev. Larry Bowden. Burial will follow in Cedarwood Cemetery.
