J. Richard Turner Sr.

John Richard Turner Sr. 68 of Paradise Road Edenton NC died Tuesday May 15 2012 in Brian Center Health & Rehabilitation Windsor NC. Mr. Turner was born in Chowan County and was the son of the late Vernon J. and Emma J. Nixon Turner. A former handyman he had also worked with Allied Van Lines. Surviving are a son John Richard Turner Jr. of Edenton; two sisters Barbara Cobb and Erma Phillips both of Edenton; and four brothers Billy Ray Turner of Seaford VA Robert M. Turner of Edenton Vernon J. Turner Jr. of Emporia KS and Phillip J. Turner of Charlotte. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Beaver Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Russell Blanchard.
