Mark Elton Gregory

Mark Elton Gregory 48 of 129 Arapahoe Trial died Friday May 11 2012 in Vidant Chowan Hospital Edenton. Mark was born in Hampton VA and was the son of Sherian W. Gregory of Edenton and Charlie C. Gregory Jr. of Hertford. Employed for many years at the family business Norfolk Monument Company in Norfolk VA he was a member of Snug Harbor Community Church. He had been his mother's primary caregiver for the past several months before he passed away. In addition to his parents surviving are his sister Laurie Elliott and husband John of Hertford; a brother Christopher Wood and wife Diana of Edenton; two nieces Amanda Harrell and Alexis Gregory; and a nephew Alexander Harbin. He will be sorely missed and will be in our thoughts every day. A celebration of his life service will be held by the family on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in Snug Harbor Community Church. Another service celebrating his life will be held on the Yeopim River at a later date.
