John Melton Schuyler

John Melton Schuyler 71 of 2826 Rocky Hock Road Edenton NC died Thursday May 17 2012 in Vidant Medical Center Greenville. Mr. Schuyler was born in Galax VA and was the son of the late Gleaves and Margaret Cline Schuyler. Having worked as a Correctional Officer with Bertie County Prison he served our country in the US Army and was a member of Cisco Hunting Club. Surviving are his wife of 39 years Lydia Gray Schuyler; two Daughters: Michelle Bunch and husband Mark and Amy Schwartz and husband Eddie all of Edenton; four brothers Ronnie Schuyler and wife Carylon of Winston-Salem Thom Schuyler and wife Ann of Lexington KY Gleaves Schuyler and wife Jean of Greensboro and Allen Schuyler and wife Becky of Charlotte; two sisters Helen Sue Poore of Mt. Airy and Kay Honiss and husband John of Greensboro; and four grandchildren Taylor Schuyler Hunter and Houston Bunch and Savannah Schwartz. A memorial service will be held Tuesday May 22nd at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home and Crematory 735 Virginia Road Edenton by Dr. James Horton.
