Chester Raymond Chet Castelli Sr.

Chester Raymond Chet Castelli Sr. 66 of 421 Center Hill Road died Monday April 30 2012 in Vidant Chowan Hospital. Mr. Castelli was born in Queens NY and was the son of the late Charles and Betty McDowell Castelli. A retired heating and air conditioner installer he was a Catholic by faith and had recently been attending the First Church of the Nazarene in Elizabeth City. He was an Army veteran. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Catherine Castelli; sons Chester R. Chet Jr. and Christopher Castelli; and a step-brother Vinson Castelli. Surviving are his wife of 12 years Rhonda Susan Almon Castelli; three daughters Nicole Adams Richards and husband Dean of Jacksonville FL Courtney Adams and Brittaney Adams both of Tyner; three sons Shane Adams and wife Robin of Littleton CO. Anthony Adams of Tyner and Jeremy Adams of Elizabeth City; a sister Irene Darrigo of Toms River NJ; a nephew John Darrigo of Toms River; two very special friends Mark Pittman of Chesapeake VA and Mike Bauman of Virginia Beach VA; and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory 735 Virginia Road Edenton by Pastor Cliff Beaman.
