Shirley Ann Simons Archer

Shirley Ann Simons Archer 68 of 129 Perkins Road died Saturday March 24 2012 in Albemarle Hospital Elizabeth City. Mrs. Archer was born in Upshur WV and was the daughter of the late John and Roxie Karickoff Simons. A homemaker she had also been employed as an office manager with Jackson Hewitt for 20 years. Surviving are her husband of nearly 50 years James B. Archer; a daughter Nancy A. Dawson and husband Chris of Gates County; a son Jerry B. Archer and wife April of Chesapeake VA; a sister Donna Warnecke of Annapolis MD; three brothers Neal Simons and Joe Simons both of Buckhannon WV and John Simons of Niles OH; three grandchildren and one step-granddaughter. A private service will be held at a later date.
