Robert Henry Grimes Jr.

Robert Henry Grimes Jr. 59 of 887 US 13 South died Wednesday March 7 2012 in Vidant Roanoke-Chowan Hospital Ahoskie. Mr. Grimes was born in Portsmouth VA and was the son of the late Robert H. Grimes Sr. and Myrtle Askew Grimes Izon. He had formerly worked in janitorial service and was a member of the Ahoskie Church of Christ and the Roanoke-Chowan Wildlife Club. Surviving are his wife Lisa Holland Grimes; a brother Richard L. Grimes of Harrellsville; four nephews one niece and many extended family members. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 4:00 p.m. at the home and will be officiated by Minister Harold Phelps. Burial will follow in the family cemetery.
