Sherian Gregory

Sherian Wood Gregory, 70, of 128 Country Club Drive, Edenton, NC, passed away Monday, May 21, 2012 in the home of her son. Mrs. Gregory was born in St. Louis, MO and was the daughter of the late George and Geraldine Coffey McCarthy. She had formerly owned and operated Norfolk Monument Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jeffrey Wood and Mark Gregory; and two brothers, Robert and Sonny McCarthy. Surviving are her son, Christopher Wood and wife Diana; a daughter, Laurie Elliott and husband John, all of Edenton; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
