Rebecca "Becky" Nixon Crandell

Rebecca "Becky" Nixon Crandell, 49, of 136 Whites Landing Road, Edenton, NC, died Tuesday, May 29, 2012 in Vidant Roanoke Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. Mrs. Crandell was born in Chowan County, NC and was the daughter of Claire Hollowell Hare of Edenton and the late Shelton Nixon and was employed with Dairy Queen. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her son, Chad Crandell; her daughter Casey Jennings both of Edenton; a brother Sherman Nixon of Moyock, NC and six grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Center Hill Baptist Church, by the Rev.
