Stan White

Stanley Wallace "Stan" White, Sr., 41, of North Rocky River Road, Monroe, NC, died Friday, June 1, 2012 in Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. Stan was born in Chowan County and was the son Sidney Wallace, Jr. and Norma Blanchard White of Edenton. An Industrial Pipe-Fitter, he was a member of Edenton Baptist Church and had coached baseball for both Little League and Monroe Middle School teams. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Irvin Stanley Blanchard and his paternal grandparents, Sidney Wallace, Sr. and Elizabeth Jordan White. In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Chellie Bell, and their son, Stanley Wallace White, Jr.; two sisters, Carla Lynn White of Charlotte and Sandra Beck of Inverness, FL; and his maternal grandmother, Grace Privott Blanchard of Edenton. Also surviving are Chellie's daughters, Alicia and Alayna Bell of Charlotte. A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to an educational fund to be established for his son, in care of Mr. and Mrs. Sid White, Jr., 1709 Ocean Highway, Edenton, NC 27932.
