Jarrett Ray Snyder

Jarrett Ray Snyder, 46, of 414 Oak St., Williamston, NC, died Friday, June 8, 2012 in his home. Mr. Snyder was born in Bertie Co., NC, and was a son of the late Floyd Clayton and Eunice Pierce Snyder. He worked in logging as a heavy equipment operator and attended Shadow of the Cross Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dustin Ray Snyder and brothers, Charlie Floyd "Chuck" Snyder and Curtis Leon Snyder, Sr. Survivors are his sisters, Shirley S. Barber and husband Larry and Sharon S. "Candy" Halsey and husband Frank, Jr. all of Jamesville and a brother, Donald W. "Billy" Snyder and wife Lisa of Williamston. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton by the Revs. Johnny Barber and Frank Halsey, Jr. Burial will follow in the Pierce-Bass Family Cemetery. Friends may join the family Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Shadow of the Cross Church, Grey Farm Road, Jamesville and all other times at the home of his sister, Sharon, 1035 St. Andrews St., Jamesville.
