Tracy Cram, Jr., 74, of 204 Mic Mac Trail, Edenton, NC, died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 in his home. Mr. Cram was born in Falls, NY and was the son of the late Tracy and Muriel E. Barker Cram. A retired welding supervisor from Newport News Shipbuilding, he was a member of Faith Fellowship Baptist Church and had served in the United States Navy. Among his greatest joys were the Friday nights that he played in the band at David's Red Barn in the Rocky Hock community. Surviving are his wife of nearly 25 years, Thaba Edna Sundermier Cram; four daughters, Karyn Cram and husband Rob of Centerville, VA, Joanne Wade of Hampton, VA, Thaba G. Blakeslee and husband Mark of Tyner and Robin F. Kight of Edenton; four sisters, Sharyn Cram, Mildred Swan and husband Bob, Ruth Kettenburg and husband Roth, and Wiladene Cowger and husband Bob; a brother, Joseph Cram and wife Dary; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Monday at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, by the Rev. Thomas Gregory. Inurnment with military rites will be held Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at the Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Suffolk, VA. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following the chapel service on Monday evening.
