Franklin Wayne Squires

Franklin Wayne "Frank" Squires, 48, of 725 Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave., Apt.51, Edenton, NC, died Sunday, June 24, 2012 in Vidant Medical Center, Greenville. Frank was born in Craven County and was the son of Jean Gatton Squires of Edenton and the late Howard Earl Squires. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Surviving along with his mother are his two sisters, Gail Bousson of Edenton and Carol Basnight of Blount's Creek; a brother, Benjamin Squires of Grantsboro; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, by Pastors Randy Browder and Charles Lockwood. Burial will follow at 3:00 p.m. in White Hill Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, Old Sand Hill Road, Aurora, NC by Pastor Billy Wingard. Friends may join the family Tuesday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home and all other times at the residence.
